I came across the progressive label "Raw Tapes Records" on one of my late night search sessions for new producers to promote. The vision of the label is to - ".. revolve around one thing – BEATS". With this statement in mind, let me introduce you to their most recently acquired artist – Radixx and the single from his debut EP coming soon. The single includes 3 tracks and a radical Tweet remix of "Oops (Oh My)" which you can download for free. There is also an atmospheric remix of the much loved (and Dilla produced) Slum Village classic 'Get Dis Money', which highlights his ability to breathe new life into a renowned track. Dimlite, is by far one of the most elusive and creative villains in this here electronic beat realm. Known for his mystical sample-based creations and sporadic vocoder moments, he is an artist who always strives to engage the weird and obscure, so imagine my delight when I received word that he had graced us with a 50-minute electronic mix for the good people of Stones Throw as part of their Podcast Series.
